Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of personalized search and discovery for millions of customers. Our Search & Browse Personalization team builds the backend systems that power engaging shopping experiences—helping users discover fashion they love.

We create data-driven and AI-enhanced experiences that make fashion discovery more engaging, from surfacing trending styles to offering personalized recommendations that inspire customers. Our backend services process vast amounts of data to power dynamic, real-time insights into fashion trends, helping shoppers find what suits them best.

Requirements

We are seeking highly skilled engineers with expertise in building scalable backend systems that enhance search and personalization experiences. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong experience in backend engineering with at least one JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
  • Built distributed systems and microservices at scale
  • Designed, built, and consumed robust APIs, particularly RESTful services and/or GraphQL
  • Solid grasp of data engineering concepts and backend system design
  • Experience working closely with product, design, and data teams
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices
