Accounting Associate

Job Summary: The Accounting Associate will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy and completeness of bank, income, debtors, and creditors records.
  • Assist in weekly budget forecasting and cash flow management to provide timely and accurate financial information.
  • Coordinate with payroll and human resources functions to maintain employee files and ensure compliance and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and file all tax returns on time.
  • Contribute to monthly end-of-month close process and project report preparation, including performance reports and management account preparations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME environment.
  • Working in the manufacturing industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Highly competent in all aspects of accounts, including payroll.
  • Excellent skills in audit, financial reporting, bank recs, and more.
