
Archive Preservation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Archivist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition, cataloging, and preservation of historical records.
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire and process new archival materials in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Catalog and index existing collections using industry-standard classification systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive finding aids to facilitate research access.
- Ensure the long-term preservation and conservation of archival materials through proper storage, handling, and environmental control.
- Provide reference services to researchers, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
- Bachelor's degree in Archives or Records Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in archival work, preferably in a public sector organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and specialized software applications, including archives management systems.
