Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team in support of a key project within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, development and testing of software solutions using SQL, Python and Java to support manufacturing activities.
  • Maintain high availability, data integrity and regulatory compliance by maintaining and enhancing critical pharmaceutical software systems.
  • Oversee daily operational activities including resolving system issues, data discrepancies and customer incidents & change requests.
  • Partner with scientists, engineers and IT teams to understand business needs and drive system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design, security protocols, testing procedures and change protocols as well as system procedures.
  • Ensure team's consistent adherence to compliance with quality standards and practices, particularly in producing and maintaining all relevant system validation documentation.
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime or data discrepancies.
  • Deliver status reports and escalate critical issues to the appropriate business areas and management.
  • Maintain and optimise existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for software-related issues in manufacturing environments.
