Senior Project Manager - Rail Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, driving cross-functional collaboration and cohesive teamwork.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management strategies that adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Directly manage project teams, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including government agencies, transport authorities, contractors, and local communities.
  • Ensure rigorous budgetary control, scheduling adherence, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support business development initiatives, such as bid preparation and client engagement.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is essential.
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional body is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a notable history of delivering rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Irish rail infrastructure regulations, standards, and procurement processes is required.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working within a consultancy environment is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise are essential.
