Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Site Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Work closely with the Contracts Manager to plan projects, identifying key milestones and timelines.
  • Safety Management: Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring that all site personnel adhere to company protocols.
  • Team Management: Manage site teams and subcontractors, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain storage facilities for materials, plant, and tools, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and secure.
  • Project Completion: Oversee project handovers, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and defect-free.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or Equivalent: A degree or HND in a construction-related discipline or 5+ years' experience in a similar Site Management role.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Sound knowledge of building regulations, legislation, and Health and Safety.
  • Certifications: Current valid CSR/CSCS Card (preferably at management level).
  • Additional Qualifications: Qualified first aider desirable.
What We Offer:

This is an initial 6-month contract with possibilities for extension or permanence.
