Job Description

The Accommodation Supervisor is a key management position in the hotel, requiring interaction with managers from all departments. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, and promoting a positive image to both customers and colleagues.

The Accommodation Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the efficient running of the Accommodation Department
  • Maintaining high standards in bedrooms and ground floor areas
  • Managing and controlling all costs, direct and indirect
  • Managing and delegating duties to Accommodation Assistants in a professional manner
  • Managing, motivating, and leading the accommodation team
  • Managing and controlling stock levels and ensuring efficiencies are achieved
  • Managing staff roster efficiently in the absence of the Accommodation Manager
  • Organizing training and assisting in the recruitment of staff for the Department, ensuring attention to manpower planning
  • Ensuring a good working relationship is achieved with Managers/Heads of Departments and staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience as a supervisor in a busy hotel property
  • Motivated team player with excellent organisational and people management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
