Warehouse Operative Role

This is a General Operative position that requires the individual to work in a warehouse environment, managing stock and ensuring it is stored and retrieved efficiently.

  1. Receive and check deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage
  2. Pick, pack, and load goods for customer and company vehicles
  3. Maintain tidy, well-organised stock areas—everything in its right place
  4. Operate forklifts and handle goods safely
  5. Keep an eye on stock levels and flag low items to the team
  6. Support security by being aware and proactive
  7. Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar general operative or warehouse role
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Manual handling certification (a plus)
  • A friendly, customer-first attitude
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
