Mechanical and Electrical Systems Technician (BIM)

We are seeking an experienced BIM Technician with expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. The successful candidate will work on designing, detailing, and delivering building information models across various sectors.


About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this position include working with BIM and CAD files using Revit and AutoCAD. You will design and detail mechanical and electrical services for data centre, pharma, healthcare, commercial, and education projects. Additionally, you will provide technical support to engineering staff by producing deliverables such as drawings and schedules. Liaising with internal team members and external clients regarding required drawing modifications is also a key aspect of this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and detail mechanical and electrical services across various sectors using BIM software.
  • Work in BIM and CAD files using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Provide technical support to engineering staff via the production of deliverables including drawings and schedules.
  • Liaise with internal team members and external clients regarding required drawing modifications.
  • Document control and filing.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years' experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems within a consulting engineering office or building contractor. Proficiency in BIM authoring software, specifically Revit, Navisworks, and CAD 3D, is also essential. Excellent attention to detail is crucial for success in this position.
