Electrical Utilities Specialist

The role involves working with electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance. This includes tasks such as testing electrical systems, inspecting equipment, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in commissioning activities and support project execution
  • Work with the utilities department to plan and schedule maintenance activities
  • Manage vendors and ensure compliance with standards
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and update GMP documents
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Support the electrical and calibration departments within the production area

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Apprenticeship or 3rd-level qualification in mechanical/electrical experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical/electrical utilities or process maintenance
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or biologics industry
  • Strong practical knowledge of mechanics and electricity
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
