Job Title: Facilities Technician (Electrical Background)

Apleona, with over 50 years of experience in providing integrated facility management services across Ireland, is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician with an electrical background to join our team in Dublin at a manufacturing site.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Location: Cruiserath, Co Dublin

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Work within a multi-skilled team, maintaining good relationships and liaising with the client's representative on day-to-day issues.
  2. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within defined timescales.
  3. Ensure procedures and standards meet or exceed the client's expectations.
  4. Manage subcontractors.
  5. Maintain emergency lighting and general lighting systems.
  6. Maintain data and telecoms equipment.
  7. Manage motive power systems.
  8. Perform thermal imaging inspections (preferred but not essential).
  9. Conduct fixed electrical testing and PAT testing.
  10. Maintain water and booster pumps, HVAC equipment such as pumps, chillers, and A/C split units (electrical work only).
  11. Respond to reactive callouts.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Relevant Junior and Senior Trades qualifications, or City & Guilds certification, are essential.
  2. Experience working within a regulatory environment (preferred but not essential).
  3. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  4. Valid and clean driving license.
  5. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Experience using MS Office.
