We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our facilities management team. This role is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems, as well as other building services.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in facilities maintenance. They will be able to work collaboratively with the on-site facilities team to ensure planned tasks are completed efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems and other building services
  • Working collaboratively with the on-site facilities team to ensure planned tasks are completed efficiently
  • Supervising maintenance work executed by vendors to ensure safe and quality works are delivered
  • Providing a first line fix for electrical issues and maintaining competency in this area
  • Conducting quality audits and logging all issues to ensure actions are completed on time and in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct facilities maintenance experience in a technical role
  • Technical qualification and/or trade license
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management system for managing Preventative Planned Maintenance
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to share ideas for improvement
