
Electrical Technician

Due to exponential growth and a strong order book, especially with their Med Tech customers, we are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician (Machine Building) to join their growing team.
This role is ideally suited for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in machine building with a bias towards electrical work, but senior candidates with more extensive experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical assembly, machine commissioning, and ensuring projects meet quality standards and timelines.

The Role: As an Electrical Technician (Machine Building), you will be responsible for the electrical assembly, installation, and commissioning of bespoke machines, ensuring that all electrical components meet the highest standards.
You will work from electrical design drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Key responsibilities include: Electrical assembly and wiring of bespoke machines from design drawings.
Communicating effectively with project teams to ensure the quality of the electrical build.
Managing timelines for machine builds to meet project milestones and targets.
Checking incoming electrical parts and supplier components for quality and compliance.
Site commissioning and handover of finished machines.
Planning and prioritising work across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
Collaborating with multi-discipline teams to achieve project and company goals.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department and the wider business.
Taking ownership and responsibility for completing project milestones.
The Person: Qualifications: Level 6 in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Fitting, or a similar discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in machine building with a strong focus on electrical work.
Senior candidates are encouraged to apply due to company growth.
Skills: Ability to interpret and work from electrical drawings.
Strong creative problem-solving skills for electrical work.
High level of electrical craft skill, with the ability to wire and set up machines to fine tolerances.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficiency with MS Office; experience with electrical CAD software is a plus.
Full Driver's License required.
