Job Title: HR Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to support our Human Resources team. As an HR Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records and data.
  • Monitor employee absences and leave requests.
  • Review and process timesheets.
  • Prepare payroll files for processing.
  • Assist in updating and distributing company announcements.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including posting job vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening and tracking applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting pre-employment checks (e.g., references, medicals), and preparing employment offers and contracts.
  • Facilitate pre-boarding and onboarding for new hires.
  • Provide general administrative support for the HR department.
  • Assist with various HR-related projects and tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field is preferred or currently studying towards one graduates are welcome.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Familiarity with other HR systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law is a plus.
