Part Qualified Accountant Career Opportunity

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic and growing practice based in Meath. This role offers an excellent chance for professional growth and development within a medium-sized accountancy firm.

As a Part Qualified Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse client portfolio while working closely with a team of experienced, fully qualified accountants. You will be responsible for preparing year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage, assisting with the preparation of management accounts, and developing your skills in preparation of Accounts and Tax matters.

  • Developing skills in preparation of Accounts and Tax matters

You will also have the opportunity to work on Audit projects, which is a valuable skill to develop in your accounting career. Additionally, you will be encouraged to take on more responsibility as you progress in your role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets
  • Experience in Audit is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Excel / SAGE / QuickBooks is an advantage
Requirements
  • Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification
  • Minimum 2-year local practice experience
  • Ability to reconcile balance sheet items
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
