Clinical Laboratory Sciences Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Sciences Specialist to contribute to our team in Ireland. This role will be part of the Lilly Clinical Laboratory Sciences organization, which oversees lab and diagnostic deliverables for various clinical trials.
As a Clinical Laboratory Sciences Specialist, you will work closely with study teams, businesses, and therapeutic partners to develop clinical laboratory, diagnostic, and biomarker strategies at the trial level. You will also coordinate vendor activities for assigned trials and facilitate research and resolution to any clinical laboratory and diagnostic issues or needs throughout the life of the trial.
- Develop innovative approaches related to quality, financial, and operational efficiency in clinical trials.
- Collaborate with internal business partners regarding best practices for medical devices, including regulations, quality, and business operations.
- Establish contracts with vendors, review and approve vendor documents, and partner with Global Business Services centers on device and data tracking or other study maintenance and closeout tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science or related life sciences field and prior experience in pharma, diagnostics, or CRO environments. They should also have demonstrated knowledge of technical areas covered by this position, such as ECG, Imaging, genomics, safety labs, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A strong understanding of clinical laboratory sciences is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in one or more of the following areas: ECG, Imaging, genomics, or safety labs.
