Our organization is seeking a dedicated educator to join our pioneering neurological rehabilitation and habilitation centre.

Role Overview

This role involves creating and delivering educational programmes that support the rehabilitation and personal development of adults with severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI), working in close partnership with therapists and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop individualised learning activities to cater for diverse cognitive and physical abilities, including profound needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet unique requirements and preferences.
  • Use structured routines, visual aids, and augmentative communication methods to promote engagement and inclusion.
  • Support the implementation of therapy goals through educational activities.
  • Encourage participation in group sessions and foster social interaction among clients.
  • Collaborate with therapists, assistants, and families in daily programmes.
  • Contribute to progress reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification and experience in special needs education.
  • Creativity and flexibility in adapting teaching strategies.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive practice and person-centred care.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology, AAC (augmentative & alternative communication), and inclusive education tools.
