Senior Tax Advisor: VAT Expertise

The role of Senior Tax Advisor requires providing expert tax support to clients, with a strong focus on VAT issues.

  • Tax Compliance and Advisory Services: Manage a team delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to clients.
  • Indirect Tax Service Development: Collaborate with senior partners and directors to enhance and grow the firm's indirect tax service offering.
  • Strategic Tax Advice: Provide expert advice on tax structuring and advisory projects, driving business growth and success.
  • International Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with clients' international networks, addressing queries and concerns arising from the Irish firm.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate work effectively to junior team members, ensuring seamless delivery of projects and exceptional client service.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, identifying opportunities for growth and development.

About You

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Chartered Tax Advisor in a reputable Big 4/Top 10 firm or legal practice.
  • VAT Expertise: Proven extensive experience in advising on all aspects of VAT, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of VAT and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently, with excellent time management skills.
