Senior Tax Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to private clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in practice and be AITI qualified or part-qualified accountant.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of clients, many with an international focus.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist the management team in maintaining relationships with private clients and co-ordinate service offerings from other departments.
    • Ensure timely payment and return filing deadlines for private tax clients.
    • Advise private clients on structures suitable for their business, transfer pricing, profit repatriations, and succession planning opportunities.
    • Act as a key member of an integrated client service team working on various assignments, including tax advisory projects.
    • Contribute towards collective targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals.
    • Involvement in business development and marketing initiatives at firm, department, and team levels.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in practice.
  • Experience working with private clients.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
  • Ability to manage client relationships to completion.
  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
