Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative water management solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chartered civil engineer with experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build, to shape the future of our cities and environments.

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems and familiarity with current Ireland design standards and working practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of water and wastewater schemes at various project stages from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation, and construction administration following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Work closely with teams in Ireland and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Manage projects or support the Project Manager in the management and monitoring of project delivery within defined budget and programme requirements.
  • Understand, communicate, and manage project risks.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
  • Sound knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems and familiarity with current Ireland design standards and working practices.
  • Sound commercial, contractual, and programme experience.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and under own initiative to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
