Construction Project Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers effectively.
  • Collaborate with site management to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage design teams to achieve best value and buildable solutions.
  • Ensure quality and customer satisfaction by adhering to building regulations.
  • Report bi-weekly/monthly to senior company executives and project directors.
  • Translate work requirements into prioritized plans for the crew and sub-contractors.
  • Engage with utility providers and warranty companies.
  • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Site Management team to manage costs.
  • Comply with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement on sites.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Manage project programs and monitor progress on site.
  • Regularly assess progress to ensure adherence to forecasted timelines.

Qualification/Certification:

  • The candidate will hold and maintain all relevant certifications and authorizations required for the role.
  • Undertake ongoing training as needed to meet industry requirements and company standards.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Competence in construction site operations management principles and techniques.
  • Excellent organizing and delegating skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of and competence in Health & Safety legislation.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others encountered in operations.
