Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project delivery group, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Oversee quality inspections, method statements, and conduct regular site quality audits with feedback to project teams
- Support BCAR inspections, documentation, and certification processes while managing external audits
- Monitor and close out non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues
- Deliver quality-focused training and inductions for employees and subcontractors while mentoring project teams
- A qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within construction, ideally with main contractors
- Strong knowledge of BCAR, quality systems, site compliance, and building regulations in Ireland
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills with ability to influence teams and promote continuous improvement
- Experience with digital construction management tools and commitment to delivering projects to the highest quality standards
