Job Summary
  • The Safety Support Officer role is critical in enabling the day-to-day management of safety, including Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) data and supports the active maintenance and development of the Management System.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supports the Safety and Compliance Director with daily administration of the Safety and FDM efforts to ensure active and timely processing and analysis of safety and flight data for improved flight safety, including management of Air Safety Reports, validation of FDM events.
  • Assists in the creation of Safety Department publications, and performs additional tasks as directed by the Safety and Compliance Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or Safety Management or related degree required, or an equivalent level of industry experience/qualification.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write effective reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak publicly and present at the individual level, senior management level, and to large audiences.
