Job Overview

This role involves leading the technical aspects of projects, managing and coordinating technical information.

The ideal candidate will report to a Technical Manager and have a degree or higher diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology, with 3+ years of experience in residential architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Briefing and advising external consultants on design approaches and details.
  • Supporting the Technical Manager to coordinate overall project management.
  • Organising Project Meetings/Workshops and recording minutes.
  • Chairing Project Workshops and ensuring Quality and Customer satisfaction through the detailed development process.
  • Developing Design Guidance Drawings and information booklets to brief project teams.
  • Liaising with design and planning teams to give technical guidance on building and detailing methods.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and skillset in key principles of design detailing & construction methods.
  • Proficient in CAD and sketch design.
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest Building Regulations and certification standards.
  • Commercially astute with an ability to make value-add contributions through the development process.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills, methodical, detail-oriented, and able to take a practical approach to problem-solving.
