The Education and Skills Development Officer is a critical role within our organisation, responsible for delivering heritage in education policy across national curricula at all levels. This includes post-primary heritage programming and the development of the heritage skills landscape in Ireland.

The successful candidate will be a member of our Research, Learning and Cultural Heritage Team, working closely with the Heritage in Schools Programme Manager and other colleagues to develop and implement training programmes in the heritage sector.

  • Deliver and implement heritage in education policy across national curricula at all levels
  • Develop and deliver post-primary heritage programming
  • Contribute to the development of the heritage skills landscape in Ireland
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programmes in the heritage sector

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of heritage education and training, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
