Backend Infrastructure Software Engineer

About the Role

This senior software engineer position involves leading infrastructure-focused solutions and API services using cloud native tooling in a microservices-based architecture. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems applying architectural principles and design patterns.
  • Implement and manage cloud-native solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Work closely with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of backend services to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues ensuring the stability and reliability of backend systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed services and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior software engineer role with a strong focus on building and deploying backend services.
  • Expert-level proficiency in building and deploying high-performance cloud-native services using Python/Golang/NodeJS in a microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as databases, storage, and messaging.
  • Architecture: In-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns for building scalable systems.
  • API Development: Experience in designing and developing APIs using RESTful or gRPC standards.
  • Security: Understanding of security best practices and privacy regulations.
