Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of vehicles. This includes cleaning and prepping vehicles for rental, driving vehicles to and from designated locations, and performing pre- and post-rental inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing vehicles for rental, ensuring they meet company standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Driving vehicles to and from designated locations, including rental branches, airports, and customer pickup/drop-off points.
- Performing pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure vehicles are in good condition.
- Auditing the quality of vehicles both inside and outside.
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and prioritize tasks.
- Completing safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
To be successful in this role, the following skills and qualifications are required:
- A full clean B driving license held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- An ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
