Facilities Manager - Operations Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth delivery of services across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management, with experience of leading teams and managing budgets. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

A key aspect of this role will be the development of strong relationships with contractors and suppliers, to ensure that we receive the best possible service and value from our partners. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of FM services practices and operational management
  • Performance managing, absence, and reporting
  • Facilities management - qualified or working towards BIFM Level 4 Diploma
  • Front of house management with key customer service skills and focus
  • Understanding of business growth and development which may impact requirements
  • Must understand the regulatory and compliance requirement of the wide range of equipment and facilities available
