Job Description

The Store Manager is a leader responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and effective management. They report to the District Manager and work together to drive revenue and manage costs while creating a culture based on high-quality pet care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence – Ensure adherence to store processes and guidelines. Optimise efficiency, streamline processes, and drive informed decision-making for enhanced store performance.
  • Operational Analytics – Achieve company KPIs, Cash & Stock Management Audit, manage store personnel costs and sales performance.
  • Leadership – Empower team growth and engagement through supportive leadership, training, and a culture of trust and respect.
  • Merchandise and Inventory – Ensure product availability, planogram implementation and accurate inventory management.
  • Customer Engagement – Drive customer engagement by leading by example and ensuring the entire team provides exemplary service.
  • Brand Integrity – Ensure animals entrusted are well cared for, and welfare comes first.
Requirements:
  • Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager.
  • Proven track record in achieving KPIs.
  • Powerful leadership skills and business acumen.
  • Strong customer service and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
