Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Conducting audits of cleaning schedules and standards within the hospital.">
  • Developing Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) in response to audit findings.">
  • Training and ensuring all staff are fully trained and competent in their areas.">
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.">
  • Working closely with the Hospital's quality and patient safety team to ensure the department is meeting accreditation standards.">
  • Collaborating with the catering team to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.">
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the catering team, including rostering, annual leave requests, and equipment maintenance.">
  • Providing education and awareness on policies and procedures to all staff.">
  • Evaluating and reviewing existing practices and introducing improved practices where necessary.">
  • Acting as a positive role model and promoting a supportive and learning environment within the hospital.">

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.">
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills.">
  • Strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.">
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and react appropriately in pressurized situations.">
  • Good IT skills.">
