Job Title: Housekeeping and Catering Supervisor

Job Description:

This is a highly responsible position that oversees the housekeeping and catering functions within our hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The post holder will conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and develop Quality Improvement Plans to address any issues identified. They will also train and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the catering team to ensure that high standards are maintained in relation to food preparation, storage and presentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess excellent people management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and delegate effectively. You should also have a strong focus on setting and maintaining high standards and cleanliness, and be able to prioritise tasks and react appropriately in pressurised situations.

You will also need to have good IT skills and be HACCP trained.
