This full-time permanent role is ideal for an individual with a passion for health, safety, and environmental management. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining a safe working environment.
The Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive guidelines, processes, and documentation to ensure company compliance.
- Conducting site visits and office-based duties to monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Preparing and inspecting Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) as well as Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) documentation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A degree qualification in a related field, such as Environmental Health and Safety or Occupational Health and Safety.
- In-depth knowledge of Irish Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, preferably within the construction industry.
- Possession of Internal Auditing accreditation, including Integrated Management Systems.
This role offers a competitive salary range of €55K-€65K, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to work in a client office in Blanchardstown with regular travel to client sites in Dublin.
