Job Title

A senior healthcare professional is required to lead our team in a social care setting.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills, good judgement for critical decisions and recommendations. They will be able to work within a fast-paced and flexible team and possess excellent organisational, verbal, written, and IT skills.

The role requires managing a team, carrying responsibility, authority, and accountability for providing the service in line with relevant regulations. The person in charge will support daily delivery of duties in the Centre in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Personal Plans, Risk Assessments and Behavioural Support Plans are up to date and services are delivered to high quality and safety standards.
  • Provide the highest quality of care and support to people who use the service.
  • Meet regulation compliance in accordance with Health Act 2007 and related Regulations (Care and support of residents in designated centres for persons with disabilities).
  • Manage the staff team to provide support, coordinating input from Clinical Team and other departments as required.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the team; conduct formal supervisions, appraisals and monthly team meetings.
  • Oversee the service across shifts to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Adhere to the local safety statement, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high infection control standards per company policy and national best practice guidance.
  • Act as a leader and role model; contribute to maintaining an effective team.
  • Organise and participate in meetings, reviews and committees as required.
  • Seek and provide guidance from others for work performed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 7/8 Degree in a health or social-related field (or a suitable equivalent qualification with management qualification in healthcare).
  • Full clean driver's license.
