Job Overview

The Residential Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Electric Ireland's residential electricity and gas business lines. This position involves empowering customers to progress on their net zero journey, shaping product offerings that support sustainable energy choices, and reducing carbon footprint.

This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially focused individual who can build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders. They must be able to deliver strategic targets, develop business opportunities for sustainable growth, and ensure alignment with decarbonisation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Support: Provide commercial support and challenge to deliver strategic targets, including the development of business opportunities for sustainable growth in the Residential Business.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure success in delivering quality, value-adding service, and innovative low-carbon offerings.
  • Financial Performance: Support day-to-day financial performance of the business areas, ensuring growth, profitability, and alignment with strategic KPIs, including decarbonisation goals.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Develop financial analytics to support data-driven decisions across the business.
  • Governance and Control: Support maintenance of a robust governance and control framework, ensuring compliance and transparency in delivery of service to residential customers and climate-aligned business goals.
Requirements:
  • A recognised professional accounting qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • A pro-active, enthusiastic, and commercially focussed individual.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels within Electric Ireland and ESB Group.
