Job Opportunity: Energy Pricing Specialist

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing electricity, gas and heat tariffs for commercial customers and supporting residential pricing.

  • Support the creation of commercial & Residential electricity, gas and heat prices and tariffs
  • Prepare price information for tenders/quotes for larger customers
  • Track prices offered and benchmark competitor offerings
  • Conduct market analysis to help us understand our market position
  • Critique competitor offerings, using this knowledge to better serve our commercial customers and aid in expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design optimal energy pricing strategies
  • Analyze competitor data to inform pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing initiatives
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Five years' experience in the energy industry within supply and/or generation
  • In-depth understanding of the Irish Electricity and Gas markets
  • Expertise in electricity and gas customer pricing from first principles
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and attention-to-detail skills
  • Able to lead a team and mentor junior staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
