Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of commercial management and QS role within construction.

Responsibilities
• Measure M&E services on-site
• Prepare sub-contract work packages
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts
• Coordinate payments according to sub-contract and procurement terms
• Monitor commercial progress and labor hours (earned vs spent) on-site
• Oversee financial and contractual aspects of direct labor
• Prepare and disseminate Interim Progress Valuations
• Develop Commercial Progress reports and Profit Plans for Projects
• Evaluate tenders against construction documentation
• Document client change requests/ variations
• Assist with Tender submissions and assess Procurement prices for construction works
• Detect and report potential commercial risks
• Partner with Planning Engineers to ensure accuracy of progress reporting

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity surveying, proficiency in Excel, and a comprehensive understanding of commercial management and QS role within construction. Additional qualifications include knowledge of Estimating Software and contract conditions.
