Leading Big Data Developments

We are seeking a Big Data Developer to join our data engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to designing, building, and integrating scalable data models from various sources.
The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data warehousing, with expertise in Kimball or Inmon methodologies. Proficiency in ETL development using Microsoft SSIS, Azure Synapse, or Hadoop platforms is also essential.
- Design and build robust data pipelines from various sources across all business units.
- Develop and maintain large-scale data infrastructure platforms, including HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Spark, and Sentry.
- Track performance of resources and grow capability in line with business requirements.
The role is based in Dublin 2. We commit to smart working, combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working.
This role involves collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. Smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on operational requirements.
Requirements:- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant big data experience, including at least 3 years developing large-scale data pipelines.
- Strong background in data warehousing and ETL development.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Transact SQL scripts, R, and Python.
