Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen areas are maintained in a safe, hygienic, and healthy manner. This includes carrying out cleaning duties as outlined in the cleaning schedule and completing daily/weekly cleaning checklists for all cleaning tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces throughout the day.
  • Assist with preparing dining areas for service, including setting tables, polishing silverware, and folding linens.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service during peak periods.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Enthusiastic and flexible attitude (ability to work varying shifts, including weekends)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively
