About the Role

As a Digital Business Analyst at Placeme Recruitment, you will play a crucial part in the Project Office Team in the IT Department. Your primary responsibility will be to understand business processes and applications, analyse the business needs of internal clients and stakeholders to identify business problems and propose application solutions.

  • You will gather requirements through interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis, and business process evaluations.
  • Work with business units to challenge their assumptions and deliver solutions for their current and future needs.
  • Evaluate true business requirements from user requests, reconcile proposed solutions with all business inputs, and resolve business conflicts as required.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our existing system and application landscape as a foundation for future solutions.
  • Collaborate/partner with teams, including 3rd party vendors, Enterprise Testing, Business Systems Analysis, and Application Support on successful delivery of systems enhancements.
  • Contribute to project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for development deliverables and updating project progress to project management.
  • Assist with application support documentation and systems training for new employees.
