About the Job

Quality Improvement Focus:

The Accreditation Clinical Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in driving quality improvement initiatives across the Haematology and Oncology department at St. James Hospital. This involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions, and monitor progress against set objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of JACIE and OECI accreditation standards, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing compliance.
  • Lead quality projects from inception to completion, involving stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Directorate Management and Tissue Establishment Teams to align QI development with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and guide staff in quality improvement methodologies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in healthcare quality improvement, with a focus on accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in project management, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with quality improvement software.
