Risk Management Specialist - Third Party Risk Assessment

Job Description

This role is focused on managing third party risk across various areas. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of third party risks, including scoping, control testing, interviews, and evidence reviews. Your goal will be to ensure that all third parties meet the required standards and are effectively mitigating any potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of third parties.
  • Monitor and oversee third party risk throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain assessment methodologies and scoring criteria.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk findings and mitigation strategies.
  • Support education and awareness programs for internal teams and third parties.
  • Partner with legal and business teams to review risk-related contractual requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or professional certification in a relevant field (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, CTPRP, CRISC, CISA, CISM).
  • Experience in third-party risk assessments across areas such as Anti-Corruption, Privacy, or Information Systems.
  • Minimum 3 years in risk management, audit, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks in regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
Benefits:

This role is ideal for someone with approximately 3 years of experience in Third Party auditing, specifically related to cyber auditing or SOC reporting. You must be open to working onsite 2-3 days per week in your office.
