Product Design Specialist

The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for integrating new products into the manufacturing process and production lines. They will provide technical support by developing processes using Lean principles to allow for safe, effective, and efficient production.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years' experience is required with strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various teams.
- Understand manufacturing processes and have experience in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as PTC Creo.
- Excellent technical report writing, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Responsible for integrating new products from R&D into production.
- Maximise product quality during production.
- Develop product designs based on specifications using design for manufacture principles.
- Carry out cost-saving projects while maintaining product quality.
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production problems.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
