Are you looking for a role in production where you can utilize your mechanical skills and knowledge of good manufacturing practices to ensure quality and efficiency?

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the production of product that meets or exceeds predetermined specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production flow and output, including tracking product at each stage of the process, proper labeling and inventory management using Kanbans and automated MES and PLC based systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production flow and output by carrying out a range of functions including tracking product at each stage of the process, proper labeling and inventory management using Kanbans and automated MES and PLC based systems.
  • Prepare, set-up and clean machines as per requirements. Adhere to housekeeping and materials management policies in all production areas while focusing on continuous process improvement using Lean Principles.
  • Carry out product testing and record results as required.
  • Maintain process equipment, assisting and completing preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting and repairs where qualified to perform tasks.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Bio Pharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industries, or in another GMP setting. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements would be an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job related computer applications is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma preferred; ideally in a mechanical, manufacturing related discipline.
  • Minimum Education: Leaving Certificate
  • Ideal candidates would typically have 1-3 years prior work experience in the Bio Pharmaceutical/Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industries, or in another GMP setting.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a controlled cleanroom environment, which requires the wearing of a gown, cap and relevant personal protective equipment.
