Job Overview:

  • The Production Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of assigned product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate automated production processes.
  2. Develop and execute process characterization and optimization strategies using tools such as DFMEA's, PFMEA's, and DOE's.
  3. Lead root cause investigations to identify and resolve technical issues.
  4. Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality.
  5. Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  6. Provide technical training and support to team members.
  7. Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and company safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on high-volume automated assembly and medical device manufacturing.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and CAD software.
