Job Title: Senior Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Performance Engineer to join our team in Waterford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work on large-scale applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and high-performing.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, execute, and analyze performance testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and tools.
  • Identify and troubleshoot application performance issues, working closely with development teams to implement solutions.
  • Integrate performance testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • Support the triage of production performance issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in performance engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
  • Proven experience analyzing performance for Java applications, containerized/serverless environments, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), and JavaScript-based front ends.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
  • Experience with AWS and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL, and version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket.
