Job Overview

The role of Supply Chain Coordinator is crucial in ensuring seamless logistics operations. This position involves coordinating with suppliers and operational teams to manage consumables planning, monitoring and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, Word or similar tools, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will have relevant 3rd level education, experience in supply chain operations, materials planning, and purchasing/buying.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate consumables planning with suppliers and operational teams.
  • Monitor and maintain indirect inventory levels to ensure availability.
  • Review and approve indirect material requisitions in line with internal processes.
  • Support departments with requisition creation, issue resolution, and site project requirements.
  • Assist with goods receipt and confirmation processes to ensure timely and accurate records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, services and information from raw materials to end customers. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and productivity.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
