Job Opportunity: Mechanical Project Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client in Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with extensive experience delivering complex projects across various industries, including Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Public Works, Industrial, and Commercial.
The successful candidate will be based in the Waterford area, with potential to work in the south/southeast of the country dependent on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day engineering management of scope, programme, and resources.
- Developing junior engineers in their role.
- Overseeing the Submittal and Procurement process & Logs.
- Coordinating with Main Contractors and other trades, including attending meetings as necessary.
- Assisting in the generation and uploading of weekly progress reports.
Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd-level qualification.
- 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in technical submittals, commissioning, and handover procedures.
- A proven strong work ethic and excellent communicator.
As the site-based lead, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
