We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer to join our Centre of Excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.

About the Role:
  • You will contribute to the development and production of vaccines, providing technical oversight and input to the discovery and detailed design phase.
  • You will work closely with vendors of OEM equipment to ensure deliverables meet project requirements, including the interfacing of new OEM equipment with existing site systems.
  • You will collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Inspection Team function to ensure their requirements are met in all deliverables.
  • You will participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs.
  • You will contribute to the development of project schedules and document trackers.
  • You will support relevant project meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Siemens systems
  • Experience with iFIX (SCADA) - Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent
