Job Title: Financial Expertise Trustee

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Board of Trustees, bringing expertise in financial management to drive the success of our organization.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and expertise on financial matters, ensuring the effective functioning of our organization.
  • They will assist in reviewing and updating financial policies, procedures, and practices to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Additionally, they will engage with other Trustees and stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance and support to the Board of Trustees.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating financial policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Engage with other Trustees and stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant with at least 5 years' experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial oversight, budgeting, risk management, and compliance within the non-profit sector.
