Ecological Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Principal or Senior Ecologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 6 years' experience in a range of infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments and statutory consent applications.
Key Responsibilities- Developing designs for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and network infrastructure.
- Preparation of feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Compilation of specifications and tender documents.
- Preparation of planning application documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients and contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant third-level degree (Level 8 or higher).
- Minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience, most of which will have been gained in an ecology role within planning or environmental consultancy.
- Membership of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
- Postgraduate qualification (Masters or Doctorate).
- Chartered by a professional body such as CIEEM.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience in tender preparation.
- Experience in managing client relationships.
